We are open for First Aid training!​
Just as a reminder, we are OPEN during this period of national restrictions supporting you to access First Aid and Safety training in our COVID-19 secure training venues, if you are remaining open during this period.
The Government are asking the public to stay at home wherever possible, however educational settings, essential shops, care homes, childcare providers and other permitted businesses will remain open. These businesses will still be required to meet the Health & Safety Executive and other governing body requirements for First Aid cover as well as training in other areas such as Health & Safety etc. It is essential to keep your First Aid and other Safety training up to date (including learning COVID adaptations), and we would like to take this opportunity to reassure our customers that all of our training courses are running under strict COVID-19 secure measures in our COVID-19 secure training venues, to protect both the delegates of our courses and our trainers.

We are pleased to announce we are now running regular First Aid public courses taking place at our COVID-19 secure venues in Bradford, Halifax, Bingley, Keighley and Skipton with hand sanitisation stations, reduced attendee numbers and social distancing measures in place.
Our GEM team, who will be looking after you during your training, have undertaken their COVID-19 Secure for Working in Offices training too.

PPE is provided to keep all safe |

We want to reassure all delegates before attending our GEM First Aid courses, we've always maintained the highest standards of cleanliness, but in addition to our usual hygiene processes which include regularly using disinfectant wipes and changing manikin lungs, we are also now giving all delegates their own training PPE pack. Included in this pack will be a face shield, gloves, bandages, a face mask for use during the training, as well as First Aid handbook for future reference.

Health and Safety Executive First Aid Certificate Extension Update |
| |
First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work certificates that expired after 16 March 2020 can remain valid until 31 October 2020 or 6 months from date of expiry, whichever is later.
All requalification training for these certificates should be completed by 31 March 2021.
