OCTOBER SERMON SERIES

 OCTOBER 4
It's Our Duty (Proverbs 31:8-9)
The work of becoming intentionally anti-racist is grounded in scripture. Faith makes the difference between noble intentions and realizing God's hope for us. Join us in worship this Sunday as the Rev. Dr. F. Willis Johnson, Church of the Saviour's Scholar-in-Residence and author of Holding Up Your Corner shares God's Word with us.

OCTOBER 11
A View from the Inn (Luke 10:25-37)

OCTOBER 18
Holding on to Our Identity (James 1:22-25)

OCTOBER 25
Memory and Hope (1 Thessalonians 1:1-3)

You may livestream the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services through our website, YouTube, and Facebook. You may also drive to the church parking lot and tune in to 99.9 FM to listen to the 9:30 Sunday service via a short-range FM transmitter.

WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY
OCTOBER 4 at 4:30 p.m.

Every year, faithful Christians around the globe celebrate our shared table as we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday in October. A global pandemic has limited the ways in which we can gather, but it cannot stop the work of the Holy Spirit and the love we share in Christ.

We will celebrate World Communion Sunday with a 30 minute service of Holy Communion - in person, in the parking lot at Church of the Saviour where you can tune in to 99.9 FM to listen via a short-range FM transmitter. We will maintain social distancing, hear God's Word, and pray together. Pastors will bring individually-wrapped elements to each person using safe, sanitary methods of distribution. Please plan to join with other siblings in Christ as we celebrate this holy time together.

RICH HILES HABITAT HOUSE

Thank you to all the volunteers, prayer partners and supporters who built the Rich Hiles House for Georgetta and her family. Covid is changing how we handle celebrations. In order to keep everyone safe, we are having a timed open house on Friday, October 9 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Please sign up here to attend. Questions? Contact Kim at kpride@clevelandhabitat.org.

George Hiles, brother of the late Rich Hiles, would like to express heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all who have prayed, planned, constructed and participated in making the Rich Hiles Habitat for Humanity House a reality.

This month for Fox 8 Cleveland’s Own, Matt Kaulig, had the opportunity to sit down and talk with John Habat, President & CEO of Cleveland Habitat. You will notice people going into the COTS/Hiles House around the 2:12 mark of this 4 minute video.
