News from our District:
New Ministries & Ministers
  • Harrisonburg First launched a new ministry this past Sunday in Elkton, VA called East Rock, their Campus Minister is Mr. Jared Link.
  • VB1 continues developing the property at Norfolk Calvary Church in preparation for a new ministry called, “Living Water.” Pastor Bobbie Jo King will serve as the ministry leader. Plans are focusing on ministry to begin in earnest in the new year.
  • Rev. Madison Freeman & lay minister Steve Kelley have been appointed as Supply Pastors to Loudoun Valley COTN.
Pastoral Transitions:
  • Berryville Compassion Church as a location for ministry has become inactive with the remaining core group attending Winchester First.
  • Spring Creek Church: Tony (Pam) Martin has announced his plans to retire in early 2021. Dr. Phil has already been in meetings with the Spring Creek Church as they begin the search for the next pastor.

General Superintendents Worship Service
The Board of General Superintendents would like to invite the global Nazarene family to join in a virtual worship service featuring music from around the world and a BGS message on Sunday 22 November 2020.

The one-hour service will be available in five languages — English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Korean. Nazarenes from all corners of the globe will be able to watch the service at a time that works best for them as it will play at the top of each hour for 24 hours beginning at 10 p.m. UTC on Saturday 21 November.
