Changes to Queensway
by Milton Keynes Council
 
From Sunday 6th December, improvement works and changes by Milton Keynes Council were implemented in Queensway. These changes include removing the temporary road closure including the gate and reverting Bedford Street back to a one-way street by removing signs and road markings.

Water Eaton Community Larder
 
The Community Larder is a membership programme where anyone can buy their shopping for a little as £3.50 per week and help reduce perfectly good food going to waste.

The Water Eaton Community Larder is open on Tuesdays between 2pm-4pm. Please be aware that the Community Larder will not take place on Tuesday 29th December. The address for the Water Eaton Community Larder is: Water Eaton Church Centre, Drayton Road, Bletchley, MK2 3RR

Keep informed about the Town Deal Bid by visiting the Groundbreaking Bletchley and Fenny website. You can view survey results and the final bid report which was been submitted to the government for a potential £25 million investment.

Newton Leys Pavilion
 
Following the latest government guidance, Newton Leys Pavilion is currently being used by Buttons Pre-School and a small number of regular bookers who comply with our risk assessments.

We are not taking future bookings for parties or social events at the moment and we are regularly reviewing government guidance.
 
We look forward to welcoming back our regular users and new hirers when it is safe to do so.

Food Bank Collection Point
at Spotlight 
 
If you or someone you know needs support, please contact MK Food Bank Xtra by calling 0300 303 4933 or by texting 07874 964505. The Helpline is open between 10:00am – 4:00pm on weekdays.
 
Spotlight is open as a Food Bank Collection Point between 10am-1pm on weekdays.

Please be aware that Spotlight will close on Thursday 24th December at 1pm and will reopen on Monday 4th January at 10am.

Interim Prescription Collection Service at Spotlight
 
The Town Council's Spotlight Centre on the Lakes Estate is being used as a collection point for an interim prescription collection service. If you are interested in this service, you will need to register with the new provider (their number is FR715) at your GP or call 01908 972278 and they will be happy to help you.
 
Please be aware that Spotlight will close on Thursday 24th December at 1pm and will reopen on Monday 4th January at 10am.
Reopening of IT Suite at Spotlight
 
The IT Suite at Spotlight will reopen on Wednesday 9th December. The IT Suite will be open on Monday and Wednesday afternoons and for a maximum of 45 minutes at a time.
 
Access is limited to ensure that social distancing can be observed and to maintain the correct levels of hygiene.
Please call 07435 884980 during normal office hours to book your slot.
 
Please also be aware that the IT Suite will be closed over the Christmas period from Thursday 24th December 2020 and will return on Wednesday 6th January 2021.
 
 
Covid-19 Guidance
 
Please continue to follow current government measures.

Together we can all help reduce the spread of Covid-19. We must remember to wash our hands regularly, wear face coverings in enclosed spaces and to keep our distance.

If you have any symptoms, request a test and do not leave home for at least 10 days after your test.

We continue to stay in contact with local community organisations, faith groups and statutory authorities to share information about support which is available locally across our social media channels and on our website.
 
Like most organisations, the Town Council has been forced to review and adapt its services in order to follow government advice. Please view the different pages on this website for details about our individual services and sources of local information.
