Welcome to enews - September 2020

Welcome to this edition of e-news. CLGF members remain at the forefront of dealing with the current pandemic: making sure that key services are delivered; and innovating to ensure that the needs of local communities continue to be met. Local government is also looking to recovery, and the role that local government will play in building the villages, towns and cities of the future. CLGF, working with its members, its partners across the Commonwealth, and as a member of the Global Taskforce is focusing on strengthening local government’s voice to ensure it can play a full role in the recovery, and in meeting international development targets including the SDGs.
