HLPF acknowledges crucial LG role in SDGs
 
The 2018 High Level Political Forum (HLPF) was kick-started today with UN General Assembly President Miroslav Lajčák citing inequality, urban planning, mobilising finance for the SDGs and partnerships as the key reasons why the UN needs to work with local and regional government to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). CLGF and the European Partnership Forum 2018
 
CLGF's Chairperson Cllr Rev Mpho Moruakgomo and Secretary-General Dr Greg Munro took part in the European Partnership Forum 2018 in Brussels at the end of June. The aim of the forum is to facilitate an open dialogue for local government, civil society and other stakeholders. Read more ...
