Universities must help shape the post-COVID-19 world
| |
In this article co-authored by IAU Secretary General, Hilligje van't Land, the authors insist on the importance of a "post-COVID-19 world [which] must be based on the values we cherish: democracy, human rights and the rule of law as well as social justice, inclusion and equity. Higher education can add momentum by renewing our commitment to our core values of academic freedom, institutional autonomy and engagement by students, faculty and staff, and re-emphasising the role of higher education institutions as societal actors for the public good."

Reference Guide:
Joint Programmes from A to Z
| |
Nuffic, an IAU partner, published an updated reference guide for practitioners covering all aspects that need to be taken into account when developing and managing joint programmes with partners in another country. The guide focuses on programmes leading to a joint, double or multiple degree offered by HEIs in different countries. It is rooted in a European context, but most aspects covered are basic elements that need to be taken into account in any joint programme development around the world.
